GodPack.gg Just Launched: First Look at the New Pack Site
Godpack.gg launched today with YC backing, a 100% expected-return claim, and 95% sell-back as site credit. Here is what its terms actually say.

A new pack site called Godpack went live today at godpack.gg, and it is making one of the boldest claims in the space: a 100% expected return on every pack. It is run by a Delaware company called Abelian, Inc., and its homepage carries a “Backed by Y Combinator” badge. We read its terms of service so you know exactly what that claim does and does not mean.
What Godpack actually is
Godpack sells digital packs that each contain one physical trading card, starting with Pokemon. Four packs are shown on the homepage: Starter, Trainer, Master, and Arena. You can try a demo open right on the homepage without an account, which is a nice touch most new sites skip.
The company details check out on paper. The terms name Abelian, Inc., a Delaware corporation, with a Wilmington notice address, and the terms were last updated October 1, 2026, about a week before launch. You have to be 18 or older, and you sign in with Apple or email.
The 100% expected return claim, with the math
Here is the part that matters. Godpack says that on average, the card you pull is worth what the pack costs. Each pack screen shows the minimum and maximum card values plus a full odds table for the value ranges, and the terms are upfront that on average a card is worth less than its pack price. Those two statements sit side by side, so read the 100% figure as the pool’s stated average, not a promise about your pulls.
Now the sell-back math. You can sell a pulled card back for its pull-time value minus a 5% service fee, which works out to 95% back. On a $50 pack with a $50 pull, that is $50 x 0.95 = $47.50 in site credit. And it is site credit specifically: the terms say cash withdrawal is not currently available on the web app. So the realistic loop is 100% stated EV, 95% back in credit if you sell everything, and the credit only spends on more packs or shipping.
Shipping costs $5 per card with exactly one card per shipment, USPS, to the 50 states and DC only. One more thing buried in the terms: any card you do not ship gets automatically sold after 7 days at that day’s fair market value minus 5%. The vault is not a free long-term collection. Ship it or watch it sell itself.
What we do not know yet
This is a day-one launch, so the honest list of unknowns is long. Pack prices are not published anywhere outside the app, which needs an account. There is no Trustpilot page, no App Store or Google Play listing we could verify (the terms mention App Store distribution), and zero user reports on payouts or shipping. There is also no provably-fair system mentioned anywhere in the terms, so outcomes cannot be independently verified the way they can on sites with seed-based fairness.
We will keep watching Godpack and update its listing as reviews and reports come in. It earned a spot in the directory on the strength of its paperwork: a named operator, real terms, and published odds tables. The rest has to be earned.
You must be 18 or older to use Godpack. Pack sites cost real money and the cards you pull are usually worth less than the pack price. Only spend what you are comfortable losing.
