Is LuxDrop Legit? Crypto Mystery Boxes, Odds & Withdrawals

LuxDrop is a working mystery-box site that only cashes out in crypto. Trustpilot gives it 2.5 stars and withdrawal complaints are common. Our score.

LuxDrop is a real, operating mystery-box site. The problem is how little of it we could check. Its own pages blocked our automated visits, so almost everything below about how the platform works comes from two affiliate review sites and a Cyprus company registry. We say so each time.

What we could read directly is its Trustpilot page, and that’s where the trouble shows up: 2.5 stars from 156 reviews, with withdrawals as the main complaint.

What third parties say about fairness and value

Affiliate reviews describe a provably-fair system built on the EOS blockchain, and say odds are shown for each box. That would be a good setup. We couldn’t open LuxDrop’s fairness page to confirm it, so under our rules it earns half credit and Fairness lands at 3.0. If you do play, check a result yourself first. Our guide shows how to verify a provably-fair opening.

The value picture is worse than the headline. One affiliate site, Unpacked.gg, found a median declared return of 90% on the boxes it looked at, but also that 70% of outcomes were worth less than half the box price. Another, CasinoRankr, put expected value at 60 to 80%. Put together, that means a few big items carry the average and most openings lose most of what you paid. Boxes reportedly start at $0.10.

Getting money out

Third-party reviews say you can deposit by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto. Cashing out is crypto only. One review reports a $100 minimum to convert winnings to crypto, and says deposits themselves can’t be withdrawn. Reviews also say redemptions need government ID and proof of address.

Then there are the complaints. Three Trustpilot reviewers in August and September 2026 said they were told to make a deposit before a withdrawal would go through. Another said a payout was rejected for “wager abuse.” LuxDrop replies to most of its negative reviews, usually asking the person to email support. That’s better than silence, but the same complaint keeps appearing.

Two more things. Third parties name the operator as Indubitably Services Ltd in Cyprus, although one source names a different company. And the site runs casino-style games such as Mines and Blackjack. Affiliate reviews say it holds no gaming licence and found no responsible-play tools.

What the ratings say

Trustpilot shows 2.5 stars from 156 reviews, split 48% five-star against 45% one-star. Of the 19 most recent reviews when we checked, 16 were low-star. The two positive ones praised payouts. The rest were about blocked or conditional withdrawals, disputes over free boxes and VIP rewards, and heavy losses.

How it scores

LuxDrop gets 3.0 out of 10.

  • Reputation 3.0. A 2.5-star Trustpilot average from a fairly small number of reviews.
  • Fairness 3.0. A provably-fair system and per-box odds, both reported by third parties only.
  • Payouts 2.4. Crypto-only cash-out, and repeated reports of deposits demanded before a withdrawal.
  • Value 3.5. No published buyback rate, and third-party findings that most outcomes fall well under the box price.
  • Experience 2.5. Casino-style games and no player tools that reviewers could find.
  • Support 4.5. It does answer most negative reviews.

Should you use it?

Only if you already use crypto, you’ve confirmed the withdrawal minimum before depositing, and you’re prepared for most boxes to return much less than they cost. If you want dollars back or an operator with a licence, look elsewhere. It’s also reported as unavailable in several countries, including Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Denmark, China and Singapore.

Sources for every figure are on the LuxDrop listing, which also lists similar sites. Our scoring rules are on the methodology page. You must be 18 or older.
