Is MintPull Legit? 100% Buyback, 52 Recent 1-Star Reviews
MintPull advertises a 100% buyback at its own valuations, but 52 of 143 recent App Store reviews were 1-star. We look at payouts, shipping, and the terms.

MintPull is a real app that pays real buybacks, but the experience is rougher than its 100% buyback pitch suggests. The App Store rating looks strong at 4.74 stars from 2,116 reviews (checked September 29, 2026), yet 52 of the 143 most recent written reviews were 1-star. That’s the gap this review digs into.
What “100% buyback” means here
MintPull sells digital Pokémon and sports packs through its iPhone and Android apps. There is no website shop. Every pack lists value-band odds, and pulls ship as physical cards or sell back at 100% of MintPull’s own fair market value, which it calls its “100% Buyback Guarantee.”
The math is simple: a card MintPull values at $25 buys back for exactly $25. The catch sits in the terms. Deposited money can never be withdrawn; only proceeds from selling cards can. Cards left in the vault for 7 days are auto-sold, so there is no waiting out a dip in MintPull’s valuation. Payouts are advertised as processed within a week with a $5 minimum, and a handful of users report payouts landing in 3 to 24 hours. That fast end exists, but it isn’t the typical report.
The review split
The averages hide a split. Google Play sits at 4.41 stars from 2,016 reviews, and the written App Store reviews skew negative: 52 of the 143 most recent were 1-star, while many of the 5-star ones are a sentence or two long.
The recurring complaints center on values below the listed bands, support that reads automated or goes quiet, and an app outage around August 22, 2026 that left several users unable to reach their balances for a stretch. Two reviewers report account bans after ID checks. The positives are real too: some users got payouts within a day, and several call out the animations and the daily free pull.
Shipping is the weak point
Every shipping report we found described delays of two weeks or more, with some stretching past three months. The terms allow up to 30 days, and we found no reports of fast shipping at all. If you pull a card you actually want in hand, expect to wait.
How it scores
Our scorecard gives MintPull its best mark in value (8.0) for the 100% buyback at its own valuation, dragged down by the reports of values landing below the listed bands. Fairness (2.0) is the weakest: no provably-fair system and value-band odds with no seed check. Payouts (3.4) reflects the quick-payout reports against non-withdrawable deposits and the outage. The live scorecard above has the full breakdown.
