If CrownCards clicked for you but you want to see what else is on your phone, start with Rips by Triumph. It is the most-rated app in this category by a mile, it rips packs from about a dollar, and it claims a 100% cash buyback. The rest of this list covers the other phone-first options, with the numbers that actually matter: minimum pack price, buyback terms, and what app stores say.
All figures below were checked against our listings on November 1, 2026. CrownCards itself is shown as the reference row.

| Boxed.gg | web only | web only | not published | 100% in gems (site credit) | 4.5 (Trustpilot) |
Rips by Triumph: the closest match
Triumph’s app is the only real rival to CrownCards in the phone-first pack-ripping lane. It is app-only on both iOS and Android, packs start around $1, and it advertises roughly 10-minute cash-outs. The App Store listing claims 100% of fair market value on sell-back, guaranteed for at least 7 days, though some users report offers nearer 75%. It holds a 4.7 rating from about 248,000 App Store reviews, by far the largest review base of anything here. One catch: it is not available in Nevada.
Packz: the funded one, with a rating split
Packz runs on the web and a newer iOS app, with packs from $5. It posts value-range odds on every pack, sells cards back at fair market value (no fixed percentage), and auto-sells anything you leave sitting after 72 hours. Payouts advertise as 30 to 60 minutes to Venmo or PayPal after ID verification. The interesting split: 4.7 stars from about 22,000 App Store ratings, but 1.7 on its Trustpilot profile, where multiple reviewers describe repeated ID-check attempts. It raised $10.7M in April 2026, per FinSMEs.
MintPull: phone-only, strict auto-sell
MintPull is an iOS and Android app for Pokemon and sports packs, with published value-band odds. It advertises a 100% buyback against its own valuation, and anything left 7 days is auto-sold. Read the fine print first: deposits can’t be withdrawn, only sale proceeds. The App Store rating is 4.76 from about 4,100 reviews, but 52 of the 143 most recent written reviews were 1-star, and shipping reports in our research run from 2 weeks to over 3 months.
Pullz: graded packs, but check the payout reports
Pullz is an iPhone app selling digital packs that reveal PSA-graded Pokemon cards, which you can keep, ship, or sell back at the platform’s own market value. The app launched in July 2026, and its store page averages 4.5 stars from about 1,900 reviews. The recent written reviews tell a harsher story: 110 of the 169 most recent were 1-star, and in our research about 68 low-star reviews from the last two months concerned withdrawals not received. Users also report PayPal as the only payout option with a $200 daily cap. Worth knowing before you deposit.
Courtyard: the vault-backed heavyweight
Courtyard is the biggest name in digital pack ripping, with graded Pokemon, sports, and One Piece cards (plus watches and sneakers) held in a Delaware vault. It runs on the web and native iOS and Android apps, packs start at $25, and instant buyback runs about 90% of fair market value, paid as withdrawable USDC. It publishes a claimed 96% RTP. The trade-off is the entry price: $25 minimums against $1 packs elsewhere.
Boxed.gg: web-only, but provably fair
Boxed.gg doesn’t have a real app. It is web-only, and our research found a copycat Android app that Boxed.gg didn’t make, so don’t install one by mistake. What it does have is provably fair boxes, a 4.5 Trustpilot rating from about 1,620 reviews, and a 100% buyback in gems, which is site credit rather than cash. Loot Labs, the Seattle company behind it, holds a BBB F rating with 8 complaints. Battles, user-made boxes, and a card marketplace round out the experience.
The buyback math, worked out
This is where the comparison turns into money. Rips by Triumph claims 100% of fair market value, so a $50 pull sells back at $50 in cash. Courtyard’s ~90% on the same pull pays $45 as USDC. Boxed.gg’s 100% in gems means the full value stays as store credit, never cash. A ten-point buyback gap is real money if you sell back often, and “100% in credit” is a different product from “100% in cash.” Read the form of the payout, not just the percentage.
Which one fits
Want the closest thing to CrownCards on both app stores: Rips by Triumph. Want phone-first with the strongest payout reporting: Packz, keeping the Trustpilot split in mind. Want graded slabs in a vault and don’t mind $25 minimums: Courtyard. Want provably fair boxes and you’re fine on web: Boxed.gg. Want the cheapest entry overall: CrownCards itself still starts packs at $1, and we covered its promo codes and bonuses separately.
We hold no deposits and take no affiliate fees from any of these platforms. See our methodology, our guide to verifying provably-fair systems, our comparisons, and the CrownCards alternatives section on its listing.
