Is Cases.gg Legit? The Sweepstakes Site With a Published 10% House Edge
Cases.gg publishes a 10% house edge and cashes out at full item value, but redemptions can take 30 days and a quarter of its Trustpilot reviews are 1-star.

Cases.gg is legit, and unusually upfront about it: the site prints a 10% house edge on its cases right in the FAQ. But honest odds are not the same as easy money: getting your winnings out can take up to 30 days, and one in four Trustpilot reviewers gave it one star, mostly over bans and withdrawal problems.
The one thing it does better than everyone else
Most pack sites hide their take. Cases.gg states it: 10% on cases, battles and upgrades, about 6.5% on its crash game, and 0 to 10% on coinflip, depending on what gets collected. Its FAQ also links a provably-fair verification page, so results can be checked after the fact.
That matters for the math. A 10% house edge means roughly $90 of expected value back for every $100 played, before anything else. Cases.gg converts winnings to “Cases Cash” at their full listed value, which you can then redeem for cash or crypto. The deal is unusually clear: the site takes its 10% at the case level, and the rest of the value is yours at face value.
How the sweepstakes model actually works
Cases.gg runs on two currencies. Gold Coins are free-play chips with no cash value. Cases Cash is the sweepstakes currency: you pick it up as a bonus when buying Gold Coins, through missions, or even by mail-in request, and only winnings converted to Cases Cash can be redeemed for cash, crypto, or the physical item.
That structure is what lets the site serve US players outside Idaho, Michigan, Nevada and Washington. It is the same sweepstakes model social casinos use. It also means the redemption rules, not the games, decide whether you have a good experience.
The redemption rules are the fine print that bites
Three numbers from the official sweepstakes rules:
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Minimum redemption: 20 Cases Cash | You cannot cash out pocket change |
| One redemption per account every 5 days | A large balance leaves in slow installments |
| Up to 30 days to process | The site guarantees no timeline |
Also worth knowing: redemptions sit pending until identity verification finishes, and if verification drags past 90 days the request is voided. The rules even reserve the right to refund purchases instead of paying out a redemption. None of that is unusual in sweepstakes fine print, but it is a long way from the “withdraw anytime” marketing most of these sites use.
What reviewers say
Cases.gg sits at 3.5 stars from 405 Trustpilot reviews, and the split tells the story: 68% five-star, 25% one-star. The site does not reply to negative reviews.
The recent one and two-star themes are consistent: account bans or promo restrictions, ID-check problems, withdrawal delays or denials, and odds that feel unfair. Two reviewers describe balances confiscated for “reward abuse” or a ban after a win. When we captured the homepage, the site’s pinned chat message was promoting an online casino it described as its own. That’s worth knowing if you’re only there for the boxes.
The scorecard
Cases.gg lands at 4.7 out of 10 overall. Value is its best category at 8.0, thanks to the full-value redemptions and the disclosed edge. Payouts is 2.4 and Support is 3.0, reflecting the redemption terms and the no-replies review record. Fairness is 5.0, with published odds and a provably-fair page that failed to load when our researcher checked, and Experience is 4.5.
Who it is for
If you want the most transparent odds in the niche and can live with slow, gated redemptions, Cases.gg is the most upfront option. If fast cash-outs matter to you, or the ban reports make you nervous, the alternatives are the better starting point.
