What users say about Repackz

Both store ratings cover the whole Collectibles.com app (card scanner and collection manager), not Repackz on its own, so they are shown here but not averaged into the score. The Trustpilot page for collectibles.com held no reviews when we checked. Repackz-specific reports are thin: one App Store reviewer said a $45 paid shipment sat at a will-ship-soon status for days with support requests unanswered, and third-party review trackers show recent written app reviews running well below the headline star averages.

Ratings checked Oct 9, 2026 and linked above. Sources with fewer than 20 ratings, or ratings covering a whole company app, are shown but not averaged. Reviews are self-selected and can be skewed by incentives or in-app prompts. We summarize recurring themes and don't copy reviews.

    Our take on Repackz

    Overview

Repackz is a pack product inside Collectibles.com, the card scanning and collection app run by Collectbase Inc. You buy a digital pack, the app instantly reveals one graded card, and the physical card sits in an insured third-party vault. From there you can ship it home, leave it vaulted, or sell it back to the platform within 7 days.

The headline offer is a 90% buyback. Read the support doc and the number changes: a 6% restocking market fee comes off, so the net is 84% of the card’s fair market value. That value is set by Collectibles.com itself. Its terms say the valuation model is theirs, is not disclosed, and is not negotiable. The money lands in your wallet instantly and can be withdrawn to a bank or card account after identity checks, which puts Repackz ahead of sites that only pay in trapped store credit.

    What the numbers say

Packs run in four published tiers: Starter at $25, Premier at $50, Pro at $100 and Elite at $250. Cards come from baseball, football, basketball, Pokemon and multisport sets, graded by PSA, CGC or SGC. Each pack shows its theme, the range of cards in it and the hit rates before you buy. The CBR co-branded packs launched in August 2026 add graded comic books at higher prices.

There is no published return figure. The terms state that assignment is algorithmic and that a card is worth what the platform’s model says it is worth, so the expected value of a pack cannot be checked from outside. One loop worth knowing: cards sold back to the platform go straight back into the active pool, and the support docs say the same card can be pulled again within 24 hours.

    Payouts and shipping

Selling back is instant, and the wallet balance is withdrawable. The payout partner requires identity verification (a government ID and a selfie) before the first withdrawal, then offers instant, same-day and standard payout speeds to a linked bank account or debit card. That is a real cash-out, with a KYC step in front of it.

Shipping is the vaguer half. Cards ship from a third-party vault partner at a $3 handling fee per card, plus shipping and any sales tax on the card’s value. Optional insurance runs $1.50 per $100 of insured value. Collectibles.com states no delivery time and disclaims shipping delays in its terms. One App Store reviewer reported paying $45 to ship cards from 14 packs and watching the shipment sit unshipped for days while support requests went unanswered. One report is not a pattern, but there is no stated time to hold the platform to.

    How we scored it

    • Fairness 2.5: hit rates and card pools shown per pack before purchase (2), no seed-based provably-fair scheme to verify a draw after the fact (0), no published RTP or expected-value figure (0), stability default (0.5).
    • Value 7.5: net 84% buyback band (8), reduced for the undisclosed valuation model and the fee stack around it (a 6% buyback fee, $3 per-card handling, tax on card value at redemption).
    • Payouts 4.5: instant buyback credit and a stated fast cash-out with three speed options, scored below the top band because withdrawals need identity checks first and there are no quantified user reports; shipping has no stated time.
    • Experience 6.0: established apps on both stores with web access and odds visible before you commit, capped at 6 because we found no deposit limits, cool-offs or self-exclusion tools.
    • Support 5.0: neutral default. A support email and help center exist, but Repackz-specific support reports are too thin to score from.
